My Philosophy
My philosophy as a teacher has been to develop a classroom culture of engagement, thinking, and enjoyment. Throughout my career I created lessons utilizing research-based practice-proven strategies to engage students, cultivate their curiosity, and get them intellectually grappling with ideas, and with primary sources.
I will continue to add lessons and strategies to my educational marketplace site Mr. Yell’s Social Studies.
Michael Yell is a creative author who has written over 30 biographical and historical books for Blake eLearning, He enthusiastically researches his subject to ensure the facts are both accurate and enlightening.
